Waveland Community Development Allocates $14 Million New Market Tax Credits to Junction Hotel

OGDEN, UT - Waveland Community Development is pleased to announce that it has allocated $14 million in new market tax credits to the Junction Hotel, located in Ogden, Utah.   The financing will be used for the construction of a Hilton Garden Inn with approximately 125 guest rooms and 5,000 square feet of conference space. The hotel is located in Ogden's Junction Redevelopment Area, a high poverty census tract in the City's Central Business District. Since 2006, the City has invested nearly $40 million in tax increment and loan financing to redevelop this area.  The Junction Hotel will provide much needed jobs and services to this historically underserved census tract.
